Double standards

Exhibited in 2024 as part of the show Landscapes towards the end of the Maas, this work was made whilst researching the new city development plans of Rotterdam, and learning about the array of new luxury apartment high rises about to be added to the Rotterdam skyline. At the time, I was also struggling to find a new house to live in. This dichotomy made for feelings of neglect and invisibility, and I believe this painitng became a reflection of this period.
